soooo yeah.  i obviously haven't written in here in awhile.  and i don't really feel like it right now ... buuut quick life update:

• last weekend was really fun.  i remember that scary road, loitering, and tping.  and then work and volleyball ...
• i got a job this summer with ymca.  so now i'm working with kaity which is pretty frickin awesome.
• urtel got her very own jetta.  so now we're gonna be jetta friends and jackie can join our vw club.  urtel just wants to be like me hahaha jk.
• ummm that's all.

it was kinda depressing today ... my last day of simpson volleyball.  i know it sounds dumb, but i've been helping mr. brown out with this for the past 3 years!  like - i've been helping these 8th graders since they were in 6th grade ... and this was my last time helping them - EVER!  they were all like "meghan we're gonna come watch you play next year!"  even though i know that they won't ... and i know that the only time i'm gonna see them again is when i come back to watch county play.  i guess it's just weird for me since this is the first thing that i've had to officially say goodbye to before i leave for college.

today was michele's last day at the gap, which means that this is the definite falling point of the store.  it was just a weird night in general ...

so i'm at work, and there's this little kid - probably like 1 1/2 or so - and she's pushing around barney in a stroller.  she then runs into me with the stroller, goes "BEEP BEEP", backs up and does it AGAIN!  this repeated a couple of more times until the mom comes running over and apologizes like woah.  i told her it was barney's fault ... not really.

then, on my break, i was going outside to decorate michele's car.  this car pulls up to me - this is the conversation that followed:

wigger:  yo, you listen to hip hop music?

me:  uhh, no ... not really.

wigger:  well, i'm promoting a new album, it's only $15.  you'll love the music ... check out this hot jam.  [blah blah blah] ... yeah and we come around here every two weeks or so.  this album is a virginia exclusive!

me:  cool, congratulations! *walks away because i had no idea what else to say*

(note to those wanna-be-gangsta's: don't drive around the parking lot of an outlet mall to promote your album, oh and most importantly - DON'T SAY THOSE WORDS IN ITALICS TO ANYONE.  EVER!)  and then the guy drives up to sandra and has the same conversation.  beware!!!

after work, i headed out to DON PABLO'S for a fun-filled gap dinner.  all the old managers were there, and a ton of really cool employees.  it was soo much fun ... from celebrating "michele's 35th birthday" (again), to urtel and zach being caked.  afterwards, i went to urtel's and we attempted to make hamburger patty's for tomorrow - but we cooked the meat a little bit while defrosting it ... aka we have to go get ground beef tomorrow morning now hahaha.  we are SO not culinary (even though sheldon thinks we're going to culinary school!).

tomorrow OFFICIALLY = my death day.  ap spanish exam in the morning, ap stats exam in the afternoon.  I LOVE 8 HOURS OF TESTING!!!  and then what else do i have tomorrow night??  an ACADEMIC BANQUET!  talk about nerd ... whatev.  atleast it will all be over in 24 hours or so.

now it's time for me to go study some spanish.  i'm not even trying in stats, i'm soo ready for that 1!

it's raiiiiiining, it's poooouring.  whatev.  jen was singing "it's raining men" the other night at practice while throwing the ball against the torn-apart wall so that little pieces would fall off.  i turned to her and said something like "IDIOT - that's pieces of plaster, not men!!"  anyway, i decided to make the song my subject for today anyway.  just because ... it's raining outside?

speaking of jen, she just IMed me to tell me that she virtually flupped jackie.  so what do i proceed to do?  VIRTUALLY FLUP JACKIE!  hahahaha i love my pirates!!

so i worked last night.  as i'm leaving, i walk outside to see only the big green monster/the g-m-c/the car with the upside cheerleading sticker aka URTEL'S BUS driving away at intense speeds.  what the flip?!  i then see a nike shoebox with nothing in it on the hood of my car, a note, and my windshield wipers up.  this is exactly what the note reads:

"Meegsta 4 Liiiife!  How was trabajo tonight?  BTW this is your stalker ... actually there are 2 of us.  And I don't see how you could be ... ANYTHING BUT MINE!  It's you and me and all of the people with nothing to lose, nothing to prove.  <3 your baby girls!" with a picture of 2 sailboats in the water with identical looking stick figures.  one sailboat has an "S" flag, the other has an "L" flag.  WHO COULD THIS BE I WONDER?!

kelly turns to me and whispers "meg, they're in the bushes!" so i go over to the bushes only to find stupid SHAWNEY and LINDSAY hiding there.  hahaha what idiots.  anyway, we then went back to urtel's house to build a cake.  we decided to give it a little added TOUCH, so we tried to make a BUNT CAKE (you know, the ones with the holes in the middle?)  however, when we were dumping it out, only about half of the cake comes out of the pan.  so what do we do?  scape the rest off, and "glue" it back together with our green icing!  and then put icing on top.  it was the most disgusting looking cake ever.  and then we dishes it out in bowls and ate our cake that looked like green cereal ... disgusting.

OMGGGGG i just did the hardest thing EVER in my life!  i had to call a slew (haha you like that word?  cuz i do!!) of other coaches to tell them that i wasn't going to their school.  it was HORRIBLE!!  i.e. talking to the marymount coach who, before i even said ANYTHING goes "my heart is beating so fast right now!" ... what am i supposed to do?!  "uhh yeah ... about that.  i'm not going to your school ..." talk about AWKWARD!  the word of my life!

wheww.  big sigh of relief.  i'm so glad that it's over ... but i'm so upset that i had to do that.  wow ... i need to go talk to sister now.  apparently her volleyball team folded and she's so upset that she's on a lockdown in her room or something ... poor girl :(.

i don't have much to say, just that i'm really excited for college now.  i was talking to jason the other day ... it's weird that together we know 8 people from county that are going to cnu (goodness!!) - 7 of them live in either woodlea, greenway, or country club.  talk about WEIRD!  but besides this ... i talked to the coach, all the paperwork was sent yesterday.  it's so exciting that i finally decided!  but now i'm done.

i've been working my life away this weekend.  i can't wait to quit.

is it odd that i find this so intriguing?:

i was reading a magazine today, and there was an article about a guy who had a sex change (from this point, i'm gonna call this person IT).  so, IT now has a boyfriend ... does this make IT gay or straight?  was IT gay before the surgery, but straight now that he's physically a girl?  but the most interesting part is ... that IT's boyfriend is 100% straight!  DOES HE REALIZE THAT HE'S DATING A FORMER GUY!?  note to any guys reading this: i won't date you unless you were BORN a guy!  i just find this really weird/creepy!!!

anyway, CNU is the final verdict!  HALLELUJIAH that i FINALLY made a decision!!  i'm actually REALLY excited about college now, and i get to play volleyball there so it's even better!  AND i get to room with urtel!!

possible outcomes of meg + urtel rooming:

1. we start a turtle-mating business.
2. we get winds at 3 a.m., 7 a.m., ... and all the times in between.
3. i lose brain cells.
4. i actually find a cure for cancer.
5. we break rule 3.14 not just once, but everyday.

who knows what else?  but i must leave ... urbandictionary.com slash my cousin are calling for me to add a new definition ("bobbet" ... yes, as in lorena bobbet.  and yes, that's the woman who chopped off her husbands' dick.  and yes, our very own bill hurley found it!  kudos to bill!!!)

KENTUCKYYY HERE WE COOOOME!  ahhh - nationals!  this is a first for the pirates/ex hornets ... and DAMN are we EXCITED!!  plus wheaton and vera are our coaches for this, since the other ones will be busy. AHH!!

i haven't written in awhile, but i've been meaning to.  there's a whole weeks-worth of stuff to say!!

monday - worked.  boring.

tuesday - got trapped in the parking garage by a truck for 15 minutes.  it sucked.  worked.  not so bad ... andy and i talked for awhile.  lindsay, zach, and i also played this game.  i decided that zach is one of the funniest kids that i know.  "hey guys ... LET'S BURN THIS MOTHA DOOOWN!"

wednesday - played SAND VOLLEYBALL with some random people.  urtel popped her shoulder out, and then popped it back in.  she also stepped on my foot, causing me to not be able to wear flip flips temporarily.

thursday - NATIONALS GAME!  so so incredibly much fun.  it was such a great experience.  anyone wanna go to another game later this year??

friday - went to saritage's play.  YEAH PIPPIN!  pippin is a dog abuser (aka used to own my dog, allie - but put it up for adoption since his dad abused her).  then we jammed in the car and went to ruby's for dessert - yuuum.  GOOD JOB SARAH!

yesterday - worked.  went to fairfax.  mike and i saw a men's volleyball game there - i saw like everyone important from nvva there.  then went out to p-ville and hung out with lindsay, jessi, andy, and some random other valley guys.

TODAY - tournameeent ... in leesburg!  belmont ridge ms incase you read this today and wanna go.  but i gotta peace out and LEAVE!

job update: picked up 3 applications, turned 1 in.

college update: tbd.

sunday DOES infact = WIN DAY.  that's right kids, the pirates are regional champs ... HECK YES!

so what does this mean?  it means we have a bid to louisville ... which is in kentucky ... we think.  coach said "it's complicated", but we're hoping for KENTUCKYYYY!  it also means that we got a huge trophy.

my mom was also walking around wearing a pirate skull cap today ... talk about embarressing!

so i hurt everywhere now.  i think i need to go to sleep.  time to get some ruby's first, though.

job update: first try = failure.  noel's gym doesn't open up until mid-july.
